Higher standard schools

Inhabitants of Leszno understand that education is their investment in the future and that is why they take advantage of the wide educational offer at all stages of their life. Almost 90% of children in Leszno attend kindergartens. All primary schools provide swimming lessons. Numerous lower and upper secondary schools offer extra-curricular activities. Emphasis is put on learning foreign languages. Leszno has the DSD II (Deutsches Sprachdiplom) examination centre, young people can take part in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme or in the European Socrates Comenius programme.
